Relax and enjoy the serene and harmonious surroundings that nature offers from our gorgeous Boathouse 1 – the perfect hideaway in Northumberland.
This boat-house style wooden cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The cosy bedroom has a king size bed, perfect for drifting into a restful night’s sleep. The next room comprises of a contemporary lounge and kitchen complete with breakfast bar. The modern bathroom provides a shower, and towels and robes are provided.
Outside, the generous deck offers lakeside views and houses a ready-to-use hot tub, BBQ, and outdoor furniture with stunning lakeside views. A parking area is provided that can be accessed via a gravel path downhill to the cabin.
We allow well-behaved dogs to stay in our cabins. The cabins all sleep three adults with room for one infant. Cots are not provided.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay here too.

On the doorstep of The Tempus, Charlton Hall and Doxford Barns, our accommodation is situated close to the stunning North East coastline and surrounding countryside. The location of our accommodation is easily situated for discovering the region’s history, and surrounding castles at Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh and Warkworth. The more energetic can discover the area on foot by taking the St Oswald’s Way or explore The Cheviots.

Our hot tubs offer the perfect way to unwind and relax after a long day of exploring. Soak up the scenery and pop open a bottle and let the warm, bubbly water soothe your body. They are also perfect for a nighttime dip as stargaze across the dark sky.
